posted in Emulator Release by narvick on Apr 1st, 2003

Happy April Fool's everybody :) The joke's been played, but the news is for real. A new version of ZX-Emul, a Spectrum emulator for Windows, has been updated today. It's been progressing rather nicely with another fairly large release. You know the routine:
    NEW
  • Added ReadTrack VG93 command (RDS Analise Track works)
  • Support cache of Page0 in Scorpion Memory Modules
  • ALT + LeftMouseButton swaps the left and right mouse buttons
  • Tape Reader: Emulation of TapeIn sound
  • Added Sound Options for adjusting or muting sound volumes

  • BUGFIXES
  • VG93 command ReadSector (ZXPower#3 hang up)
  • OpenDisk Dialog and Emulator keypress synchronization
  • Trailing space sensibility in file name
  • InputField Calculator
  • VG93 command RealAddress (FORMAT bug)
  • Access to Track 81
  • Border color on emulator start
  • Index command (like SET 4, (IX+#01)) can modify ROM
  • Initial state of mouse (programs don't discover it)
  • Interrupt enabled in prefix chains and after EI/DI
  • TapeReader: Errors on tapes with more than 255 blocks
  • On snapshot opening, border didn't change in debugger
Get it from the Sinclair Spectrum Emulators page.
