The ZSNES frontend ZFE has been updated to v1.0. Here's what new: Tiny 310k executable coded in VC++. Supports both the Windows and DOS versions of ZSNESs (v1.337 onwards). Intuitive and easy to use. Keeps generated files nice and tidy (screenshots, save states etc). Inbuilt ZIP and GZIP support (no DLLs required). Full ZSNES option support - Command line, ZSNES.CFG and ZGUICFG.DAT. It supports both reading and writing of the CFG and DAT file. Before launch of a game the desired settings are written to the two files. Supports general settings and individual settings for every rom. Supports .SMC, .SWC, .FIG, .SFC, .1 (multiple part images), .058, .078, .USA and .JAP file formats. Also supports uninterleaved images. Full rom header and stats retrieval including checksum validation (checksum calc for Broadcast Satellaview roms is also supported). CRC calculation of rom data (excluding any copier header data). Supports .BMP, .PNG, .PCX and .JPG picture formats for skins/screenshots. Supports multiple screenshots in slideshow form. Can automatically compress all non-compressed roms/save states in one action Cyclic save states. Multiple CD append-scan. Supports compressed saved states. Automatically extracted upon game launch. Automatically compressed upon game exit. Skinnable and colour configurable. Generates a ROM Report - including Full stats for each located rom. Zip errors/corruption problems encountered. Duplicate roms (by CRC). Zips containing no roms. Zips containing multiple roms. Total rom library size (compressed and uncompressed). Total number of good/bad checksums. Total number of unique roms.
