Dan Scott has recently released several save state editors. Super Mario Bros 3 Hacker 1.0 for NESten save states can edit the following:
  • Lives
  • Coins
  • Current Suit
  • Cards
  • Items Get it from the NES Section of the Cheating Utilities page.
