SexyPSF v0.2.3

posted in Emulator Release by narvick on Mar 24th, 2003

Xodnizel has updated his new open source PSF player for XMMS not once, not twice, but THREE times since its initial release earlier today! Here's what's new in the versions, starting with the most recent.
    v0.2.3
  • Fixed a lockup problem that occured when the song was paused and XMMS tried to go to the next song

  • v0.2.2
  • More SPU date structures are being initialized on reset now. Fixes some Suikoden 2 bugs (short junk sounds at the start of songs) it seems...
  • Added another emulated CPU idle detection hack. This brings down host CPU usage on many PSFs considerably

  • v0.2.1
  • PSS_STYLE is now defined in the Makefiles
  • Fixed GetFileBase to return a static (and local) array, instead of a plain local one (oops)
  • Added a special EXE memory loader, instead of that evil plain memcpy() stuff
  • Fixed a major bug in the XMMS plugin code. Under some conditions, due to an integer overflow, usleep() would be passed a negative value, causing much unpleasantness (locking up)

Thanks to Xodnizel for the news
