NSF player for ... Super Nintendo. Genius strikes again.

Memblers, innovative chap as he is, went ahead and developed an NSF player for the Super Nintendo. After all these years, finally something useful and quirky comes out for the SNES homebrew scene. Straight from the musician / programmer / 6502 embracer himself, the scoop on the program is as follows: "I figured my NSF player isn't going to get any better, (short of being re-writing from scratch) so I'm releasing it now. It runs on SNES, and supports about 470 NSFs in an internal library. It can also load (unbankswitched) NSFs externally, from the 'cartridge's' 32KB of BRAM/SRAM/whatever."

I did not post the player in our freeware and public domain SNES roms section, since it would only be sweeping the spotlight away from whom it belongs to. We'll host the files here at ZD once the hype has died down - if, that is, it ever does. :)

Come and get 'em, while they last: Hey, he was even nice enough to add the soundtrack to Sheng Huo Le Zhuan, a product from everyone's favorite Taiwanese game company - C&E Inc. (makers of Super Fighter of course!). Genius has struck again. Let's not forget it.
