Nobuo Uematsu is ALIVE and WELL

News by swampgas on Jun 29th, 2001I had originally posted on Nobuo Uematsu (composer for Final Fantasy) allegedly passing away yesterday...shortly after I had posted, the site which created the false news report retracted it. It was nothing more than a ploy to get them visitors. Once they had retracted it, I removed the news item here. It seems that another staffer didn't do his homework before he posted the same false news again...and that has been dealt with. And yes...the news about Jack Lemmon passing away is indeed true. Sad, but true. Walter Matthau, Carrol O'Connor and now Jack Lemmon...great actors, extremely funny guys...
