NetBSD on the DC!
posted in Misc. News by swampgas on Jan 7th, 2001Wihend sent us some news about a Dreamcast port of NetBSD. You may or may not remember us posting on a successful load of the NetBSD SH3 kernel on the DC last year, but now NetBSD has made it an official port. From the developers:
The Dreamcast effort will focus specifically on supporting the Dreamcast hardware, rather than just the Super-H processor contained within. Currently, it only boots into single-user mode, and the only function hardware is the serial port, but, hey -- it's a start.
