posted in Emulator Release by narvick on Aug 12th, 2004The Windows version of MAME is now up to date with the latest MAME. The source has not been updated this time however, only the binary. There's also a caveat from the homepage:
- Again, remember that non-standard controller support has not been added in yet to match the core. Because of the large number of input changes to the core you need to kill all *.cfg files and let them rebuild and remove old \ctrlr files and use the ones from the distribution package otherwise Mame32 won't start its games. Games also won't start if you try to use a different controller than standard in the Controller tab.
