Linux 2.4.0

posted in Misc. News by swampgas on Jan 5th, 2001

I meant to post this before I went to work, but I was too busy compiling (and was almost late). Linus released Linux 2.4.0 yesterday evening. While it's neat that a new version was officially started, remember that with new stuff comes bugs. Personally, I'd stick to v2.2 until the OTHER guys find out if v2.4 is actually better. Neato things vs. stability... And on a side note, I noticed in the changelog there was a developer called David Miller...I don't think there's any relation to Dhalamar :)
