posted in Emulator Release by xeon3d on Apr 1st, 2001Norbert Kehrer told us that he has just added another classic game to his Java Arcade Emulator (JAE). This time it is Taito's Arkanoid! Derived from Breakout, it has cool new features, attractive graphics, and brilliant gameplay that made Arkanoid define an own genre of games. Now JAE supports sound and this time it is not using pre-recorded samples, instead it is emulating the AY8910 sound chip, which was used in the Arkanoid machines. So go to Norbert's Emulators if you want to play this classic game.
