Gens SH-2 Emulator 1.00
posted in Emulator News by narvick on Jul 22nd, 2002I should have mentioned it earlier, but Stéphane (author of Gens) has released a source for the SH-2 (Hitachi SH7604) CPU that is used by the 32X, assembled in Visual C++ and NASM. The newest Gens verison, if one did not know, was the first Gens to support the Sega 32X. Here's the features of this first release:
- 100% SH-2 instruction set implemented
- Fetch/Read/Write from/to cache area supported
- External division unit fully implented
- External DMAC unit fully implented
- External watchdog time unit fully implemented
