posted in Translation News by khaless on Jan 28th, 2003Mike Curious writes in to say: On the 15-year anniversary of its original Japanese release, here is an unofficial English translation of Genesis, an obscure old game by Square for the NEC PC-8801. This may possibly be the first PC-8801 game ever translated. Genesis is a primitive RPG, reminiscent of the early Ultima games, about a post-apocalyptic world where the battle between good and evil has taken a hilarious twist. It is one of a few games that Square developed before Final Fantasy, when they were a far less serious company.
