GBA Emulation

I know this probably isn't the proper place to put opinions, but I think it needs to be heard and heard by all. Gameboy Advance emulation. Neat. Programmers were able to code a program with no reference to how it should actually work....that takes talent. But now we're faced with more than just GBA demos. There are reports of GBA emulators, namely iGBA, being tested with running actual games. I'm seeing the "emulation crisis" starting once again. Some of you have seen this time and time again...some may be seeing it for the first time. When NESticle appeared, people hoarded NES roms...emulation was dead. When Snes9x appeared, people hoarded SNES roms...emulation was dead. When UltraHLE appeared, people hoarded N64 roms...emulation was dead. When Final Burn supported CPS2 games, people hoarded CPS2 sets....emulation was dead. And now, people will begin hoarding GBA roms....people will proclaim emulation dead once again...they'll proclaim emulation is "warezy". So my whole point in this "article": let's try and keep emulation what it started out to be....preserving old systems where the hardware is now failing from age. If you want to play GBA games, go buy the GBA...it's coming here to the States on June 11th and to Europe on June 22nd. Let's give the IDSA/Nintendo one less reason to come after us.
