Emu Loader v4.6
posted in Frontend News by narvick on Aug 1st, 2004Ciro Consentino has updated his extremely popular MAME frontend to v4.6! There is quite a lot of changes, too much for us to even list here. A complete list of changes can be found at the Emu Loader homepage. However, this is what has been said:

Big changes in this version, with tons of fixes a few additions. Sadly, almost a week ago I lost my hard-drive partition and a lot of updates I had prepared for this release. As a result, the user profile is completely removed because I was in the middle of a full rewrite, and because I don't have too much time to work on the frontend anymore. I ask you P L E A S E do not insist on this because I am NOT adding it again (too much work involved!).
New MAME versions, v0.84 and newer are now being correctly handled when creating a games list. EL extract the info directly from the "-listxml" MAME output and display all text correctly (see "Alien 3").
