DrSMS Initial Release
posted in Emulator Release by narvick on Mar 26th, 2003Reesy also entered in the GBAX 2003 competition and also received a runner up with this new Sega Master System emulator for GameBoy Advance, DrSMS. He's been working on it for awhile now though. Here's a description from the readme:
- DrSMS is a Sega Master System emulator. It is written in 100% ARM ASM and compiled using the goldroad compiler. DrSMS is not a port of any other exisiting SMS emulator, I have written it all from scratch including the Z80 core. It currently emulates 3 of the SMS sound channels. ( I still have to do the noise channel ). The screen is unscaled so you do lose the bottom few lines which is most games is okay, I have not implemented a screen scroll function yet.
