posted in Utility Release by spacetiger on Jan 4th, 2004

Formatted Disk Image (FDI) files are basically copies of disk information onto your hard drive. Using Disk2FDI, you can create disk images from Amiga, Apple ][, Atari ST, Commodore 1541, IBM single-density and PC formatted disks. This release contains the following changes:
  • Commodore 1541 disk imaging now possible with a modified High-Density 5.25" floppy disk drive
  • Improved support for IBM MFM sector-dumped images
  • New /A and /B switches to override BIOS disk drives configuration
  • New FDI 2.0 specification included
  • Various bug fixes
We can only offer you the trial version, as the program is shareware. Note that you can't actually create FDI files with the trial version. The download is on our Computer System Utilities page.
