klone has released a text-based level editor for the NES version of Bubble Bobble. This editor features:
Dumps levels from ROM file into nicely formatted, easy to edit text file.
Allows you to write your level back into the ROM.
Can edit any level (1 - 112)
Translates hex values from ROM file into easy to read character symbols.
Completely expandable, if you find what an unknown hex value does, you can easily add it to the bubbled.conf file along with a character symbol.
Includes UIPS, an IPS patch creator, so you can make your own hacks and distribute them easily!
