Twin Galaxies will be hosting its first-ever Twin Galaxies' Video Game Festival in the Sam Goody Center at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, July 20-22, 2001. One of the features of the event is a "Classic Video Game Arcade." Classic game collectors are welcome to bring games that they wish to sell and set them up for the public to play during the weekend. There is no charge for this privilege. The only requirement is that the games on display must be manufactured in 1986 or earlier and that they must be set on free play for public enjoyment. Each game exhibitor may hand out literature and accept offers for their games. Each exhibitor must bring at least 50-feet of their own extension cord. The games that are displayed may not be moved out until the event is concluded Sunday afternoon, July 22. Since over 100,000 visitors per day walk through the mall, this could be a good opportunity for game dealers to establish new contacts with people wishing to start game collections. There will be room for only 30 games, so Twin Galaxies will take reservations on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested collectors should email their list of games to walter@twingalaxies.com as soon as possible. For more information on Twin Galaxies, please go to http://www.twingalaxies.com
Now how come there's never anything cool like that here in Harrisburg, PA?
