Paul Lay has released a second, playable demo of his work in progress space shooter, Astrohawk Advance. Originally being programmed for the Super Nintendo some years back, the project is now being focused on for the GameBoy Advance. Demo number two adds the following features over the first:
  • Music and sound effects (uses Sergej Kravcenko's Code Waves)
  • Bombs (use the B button to drop bombs)
  • Ground-based enemies (cars, pods, guns) which you have to bomb
  • Different sectors (harder sectors have cloud cover)
  • Difficulty levels (on easy you can choose the starting sector)
  • High scores
I personally recommend that you give this game a try. You are free to acquire a copy right now from our freeware and public domain GameBoy Advance ROMs page.
