Advance Sound Razor 0.50a

posted in Utility Release by narvick on Jul 7th, 2002

A new utility has come out for the Game Boy advance by Bouche. According to the readme:

Advance Sound Razor is a GBA sample extractor/inserter that currently only supports one game (Super Mario Advance 2 J/E versions). It allows you to dump a single sample into a wave file, or all the samples into multiple wave files. The Insert feature allows you to insert an 8-bit or 16-bit (16-bit is buggy, I suggest you convert it to 8-bit first), any sample rate, PCM wave file into the ROM either in the same place as the old sample was (if it fits), or in free space at the end of the ROM. It will also expand the ROM when it needs to (with your permission).
