iD - by Skewer - EmuSpot.cjb.net/id.html or EmuSpot.cjb.net
(remember... keep reloading and be patient if no update!)

Consider this the program's documentation.
Here's how it works.

1. Make a link to the program on your desktop.
(This should be easy enough... here's how:

1. Right-click your desktop, point to New, then Shortcut
2. When you get the "Create Shortcut" dialog, use browse and find
the folder you unzipped iD to, and double click iD. Then hit Next.
3. In the name, it should already say ID but for that extra flair you
can change it to iD, or Dboy Frontend, or anything!
4. Hit finish.
5. To move this link to your start menu, simply drag it where you
want it. (If your computer has MSIE 4.0 installed you have the added
bonus of dragging it right to the spot where you want it)
)

2. Double click that link.
3. Use the drive/folder/file interface to find the rom you want.
(I believe this only supports the 8.3 format currently... sorry!)
4. Click the rom you want to play.
5. Select any and all of the options you want in radio/checkboxes.
6. Hit PLAY!
7. Enjoy!

What's new in 5.0:

Upgraded to 32 bit. That means the text boxes, etc don't look all
funky anymore. Also, the long filenames are supported now!
Moved most of the options to menubar to make it a little easier
to control and less visually-unappealing.
It SHOULD work right, but I released it in a hurry so if it doesn't
work download 4.0 and tell me what screwed up.

What's new in 4.0:

Fixed a few minor bugs, and now it remembers your settings!
Also you can run DBoy from anywhere! But you might have to specify
DBoy's location the first time or select "Run from ROM location."

Known bugs, you need not flame:

You need a reasonably recent version of DBoy... but this isn't
really a major issue so don't worry about it.
You need the vb4 .dll file, you can find it at iD homepage.
Sometimes you won't get the colors/borders/etc you want. Try several
different CPU modes (SGB, CGB, GB, -AND- Auto Detect too) before you
cry bloody murder. It's a known fact that SGB+CGB gives SGB2 border,
 but SGB gives SGB border.
Be VERY CAREFUL not to hit the "Windows" or "Menu" buttons on your
keyboard while in DBoy. On 2 computers I have, both Win 95, it
minimizes DBoy and when I try to maximize I get "Cannot restore
application" errors. Some other keys do it too, plus the mouse, but
I haven't had any problems during normal gameplay.

And if I haven't already told you, one way or another, if this should
meltdown your computer or something I accept no responsibility. You
run this thing at your own risk, regardless of consequence.
All trade marks/copyrights used in the program are used for
research or educational purpose, so don't try to sue me. All themes
or similarities thereto are all coincidental, too.

Got that?
