Selfboot Buddy Pro 1.0 by burnerO
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Selfboot Buddy is a program to assist in the burning process
of Dreamcast emulators. Since most of the steps for burning
Dreamcast Cd's are dos commands, I thought a nice little
front end could be helpful.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Usage:
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Unzip the files file from this zip and run. The program is
self contained, meaning it needs neither dlls, nor
installation. To uninstall the program, simply delete the
folder you extracted it to.

Apon first running sbbpro, it will warn you about some missing
necessary files. A zip containing all of the needed files can
be found at my website, burnero.dcemulation.com.

* Scanbus problems:

Here are some alternative methods to get the three scanbus numbers:

Blindread 3:
Chose next, then look at the top where it lists cd drives:
0:1:0 - cdrw; which translates to 0,1,0

Cdrwin:
Choose the top third button with the cd going to the
harddrive. At the top where it says cd reader pull the
option down until you find your burner. It lists it as
0:1:0 cdrw; which translates to 0,1,0

Easy-Cd Pro 95:
In the bottom right corner it lists the scsi id of your
burner in cdrecord format, ex: 0,1,0

Nti Cd-Maker Pro:
Chose cd-rom record then select. It lists your the scsi
id as (han:0,id:1,lun:0); which translates to 0,1,0

Winoncd 3.5:
chose options then preferences. Under preferences chose
recorder from the top and it lists your scsi id as:
cdrw at Host 0, ID1, LUN 0; which translates to 0,1,0

* Cdrecord problems:

If you get an error while attempting to burn the second
session let me first say this: YOU HAVEN'T BURNED A COASTER!
Well, at least not yet...

If you have problems using cdrecord you'll be able to burn
the second session using cdrwin:
http://www.goldenhawk.com/cdrwin.htm

I don't know what causes this problem, but here's the cdrwin
tutorial:

1] Click the fourth button with the screwdriver.

2] Change the top "Backup/Tool Operation" to:
   Record an ISO9660 Image File

3] Click ... next to Image Filename and locate your data.iso.

4] Set Recording Options:

Disc Type: CDROM-XA
Track Mode: MODE2
Speed: 1X
Finalize/Close Session: Checked
Write Postgap: Checked
Open New Session: Unchecked
Verify Recorded Image: Unchecked
Test Mode: Unchecked
Enable BURN-Proof: Unchecked

5] Click START in the top right corner.

6] Try the disc in your Dreamcast when finished burning.
