I exclude any and all implied warranties, including warranties of fitness for
a particular purpose. I make no warranty or representation, either express or
implied, with respect to the System 16 Launcher, its quality, performance
or fitness for a particular purpose. I shall have no liability for special,

LICENSE
=======

This program is Freeware. It may be distributed freely as long as it is not
modified. It may be distributed on BBS's, on floppy disk and CD-ROM as long
as there is no charge other than to cover distribution costs.

DESCRIPTION
===========

This is launcher for Thierry Lescot's excellent System 16 Arcade Emulator. It
allows you to quickly and easily select which game to play, which saved game
to use, and which configuration options to send to the emulator.

INSTALLATION AND USE
====================

To install the program copy LAUNCHER.EXE and S16.BAT into the directory where
the System 16 Emulator is installed, or just unzip the distribution there.

To invoke the launcher type:

S16

The launcher creates a batch file called S16L.BAT which is what actually
invokes the emulator. It is also where the configuration options are stored
for the next time the launcher is run.

Use of the launcher is pretty much self explanatory. Please read SYSTEM16.DOC
for descriptions of the System 16 Emulator configuration options.

THINGS TO DO
============

- Improve coding (it's a bit messy). Use Turbo Vision resources to reduce
  size and increase speed.

- Online context-sensitive help.

- Saving different configuration options for different games (maybe?)

- Improved documentation :)

E-mail me if you have any other ideas or comments.

TECHNICAL INFO
==============

System 16 Launcher was written in Borland Turbo Pascal Version 7.0 using the
Turbo Vision libraries. The executable file was compressed using LZEXE by
Fabrice Bellard.
