This is an Open Source project, which mean EVERYONE can contribute
to it, check the webpage to see how it works... it's very easy to ask for
things you would like to see in a future version and even apply to become on
the team.

NES DevKit is a Nintendo Entertainment System Softwares(.ROM/.NES)
Developement Kit written in Delphi/Kylix.

What this tool is suppose to do is to DIRECTLY COMPILE AND RUN
any NESASM compatible NES demos or games by 1 CLICK on the mouse and see
the thing running on you favorite emulator right after:). At least, that's
what it does for now ;)

The project is still in planning stage/pre-alpha so expect a lot of cool features
in the future. You can come plan it with us if you want, even change the way
everything should work, if you have any better ideas.

The more important at this stage is :

 MORE DEVELOPERS!!! Yeh, 010101000 baby
DOC Writers!!! My English sucks! I speak French

 IDEAS!!!!! FEEDBACKS!!!

Notice, we are not looking for bugs report at this stage, it will sure be buggy
but we are already working on another version.

oh yeah, and we need MORE DEVELOPERS!!! just in case you missed it :)

remember, like this is a new project, it's easy to enter unlike projects which
matured.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What you have in yours hand is a TECH DEMO. Which means it's not the actual devkit
,in fact the real devkit doesn't exists yet. But this demo should show off the main
points of what this project is about.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I included 5 little more or less known demos for your compile pleasure.

Easy steps to test this proggy :

1-Set your-self an Emulator in the main menu under Options...
2-Open a demo using Open Project in the menu
3-Click on the Triangle RUN icon

Now the dev kit should do everything you need to compile the stuff and pop-up
your emulator with the actual demo running.

  * ALL THESE DEMOS SHOULD COMPILE FINE WITH NO ERROR * If you get a blank screen,
the emulator is your problem or the demo only has sound!

 =================================================================================
LAST MINUTE NOTICE : DO NOT RUN NESDEVKIT FROM A PATH WHICH CONTAINS A SPACE LIKE
'C:\Program Files\NESDEVKIT', the compiler is dos and doesn't see the spaces.
You have to use path like ex: 'C:\NESDevKit1.0a' or 'C:\dev\delphi\NESDevKit1.0a'

Just no space ok ? It won't work otherwise until this is fixed.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I made, I mean rushed, this first release in only 3 days... hehe!

I included some 'quick references', just to show how references should
be accessible in a real DEV environement.

By using this, I hope to receive your comments/feedbacks etc on the
NES DevKit website(NOT by e-mail!), so everyone can read them!

Oh yeah, you can start and save new projects too. Anyways, cya on the
NES Dev Kit Forums dudes.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

David Michel granted me the permission to use his excellent NESASM compiler as
the core of NES DevKit(as for now). Thanks him.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quick greets go to everyone which made this possible... you know the names...

YoSHi, Chris Covell, Memblers, Kevin Horton, SnowBro, Marat Fayzullin,
David Michel AND LOT MORE!!!(YES, LIKE YOU) I'll write more in the next
release, I'm rushing everything so I can release this today.
