--- Info ---
First work on the driver used in VP/SOSS was done by neill corlett.
The problem he had been noticing, over and over, was wrong channel
volumes/missing instruments, with the psfs. I took a general look at
it, and compared the sample data of the psfs, with a save state from
in game, and suggested that it might be missing sample data,
(accounting for the missing instruments.)

Later on, Neill finally released his notes to psf_rippers, after I
suggested he do so. At that time both I and zoopd had a good look at
his idb, and the note file. In his notes, he said these lines.
"I am certain this is not a missing samples issue; something
else is wrong."

Turned out it was indeed missing sample data. The missing sample data
was in file 4 (for VP) and file 8 (for SOSS). Also I assumed the SLZ
data that was dealt with in another initialization call, was also
important, That was file 5 (VP), and 9 (SOSS).
