Hello,

here are some explanations of the contents of the 'programs' folder.

EXTENSION

The extension '.hpf' is used for HP9100A Emulator program files.
'.hpf' files are text files and can be processed by any text editor or viewer,
but it is not needed to edited then directly. The Emulator will generate them,
when the "RECORD" button is pressed.

FILE STRUCTURE

.hpf files contain exactly 392 characters because the HP9100A could store
196 program steps and each program step is represented as a two character code.

The codes are the same as the original HP9100A computer uses. See the 'Help' menu
of the emulator for a code table or look at the 'Translate' module of the source
code.

Files which have a different length than 392 character are no valid program files
an can not be loaded ("ENTER" button) by the emulator. This is the reason not to
manipulate the files directly but let the emulator do that.

The indivdual files are mostly not documented. They are used to debug the emulator during
development or because I didn't want to type them in twice. You can delete them all and
put your own programs here.
