I don't have time to bother with this game anymore.
The dialogue table is the same table from DQ12r, so
more than likely you'll need to change a few hex
values at the top and add a few more for the dialogue
copies of the items (BSDQ is a fucked up game... figure
it all out on your own. :P)

BSDQ's dialogue font is mirrored. I.E. You need to hold
a mirror up to your screen to view it in a graphics editor.
Flip.exe will flip a font so that BSDQ can use it and store
it as flip.fnt. The input file must be in the same bitplane
format as BSDQ's original font, and manually inserted into
the rom. I will not aid you with this process. If you can't
figure it out yourself, you're probably not good enough to
work on this game. I never got around to finishing my custom
tile editor, and Naga doesn't quite support BSDQ's font, so
have fun spending hours getting your font to look right. My
advice would be to study the flip.fnt file included in this
archive. It's a copy of DQ1+2 reprise's font, already flipped
so you can view it without a mirror. Just study the format of
each letter, and with a decent knowledge of bitplane fonts,
you should have no problem editing it.
